The Education Enrichment Foundation of Scotch Plains-Fanwood (EEF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization managed by a board of volunteer Trustees. Over the past 5 years, the EEF has funded close to $50,000 in grants and scholarships. The EEF works with the Scotch Plains-Fanwood Teachers, Administrators & the Board of Education, school administrators & Board of Education to enrich and advance the cause of Excellence in Education for Scotch Plains-Fanwood students. The EEF enhances the quality of education in the Scotch Plains-Fanwood school district by supporting student achievement & leadership, innovation in the classroom, and enhanced learning through technology.

Our Mission

The Mission of the Education Enrichment Foundation of Scotch Plains-Fanwood is to strengthen the learning experience and inspire the students of the Scotch Plains-Fanwood School District to succeed. Our Vision is to develop curious, creative, and confident learners and leaders.

We Accomplish this by:

Funding projects that enrich the curriculum but fall outside of the district's standard operating budget
Encouraging teacher innovation and excellence.
Responding to emerging educational needs.
Promoting a motivating academic and healthy social environment.
Fostering creativity and collaborative projects with community partners.
Engaging the community in fundraising efforts.

What We Fund:

Grants proposed by district teachers and staff for innovative or creative educational projects.
Pilots of new after school clubs that support our mission.
